Our Trash, Our Choice

Wendy and Sean from the Science Center are helping us learn about how the choices we make about trash, recycling, and composting impact our environment and world. They came in to present their show "Our Trash, Our Choice" to us today. Check out their blog for some more resources and follow up questions that you can ask your fourth grade student about!

LATEST NEWS OF ROOM 229

Our bunny olive is still refusing to come out of her cage. Many superstitions say she is a vampire or a spy or a vampire-spy. We put a rug next to her cage to try to get her to come out. Also, you can send your children with 2 or 3 small pieces of fresh fruits and vegetables for olive to eat. You should especially bring (if you're going to) dark, leafy greens like spinach. She really loves apples, too. Our bunny olive, as conclusioned by the students, is most likely a spy sent by the FBI. Please remember that this is written by a student. Dun dun!
